Virtual Symposium for Senior Minority Ethnic Nurses & Midwives (8b & above), Allies and System Leads

The Virtual Symposium for Senior Black Minority Ethnic Nurses and Midwives (8b and above), Allies and System Leads will be held on 29 April 10:00-15:30.

This development day is aimed at increasing senior representation of 8b and above BME Nurses and Midwives nationally by inspiring confidence, highlighting opportunities, harnessing system support, showcasing best practice, working with and challenging the system leaders to deliver measurable step change nationally and across regions.

Aims:

• To build on the outcomes and feedback from 2023 Symposium
• To look at the WRES data and understand where we are today
• To showcase movement on the numbers of senior staff from global majority and their journeys
• To set plans for the following year in the context of strategic drivers
• To showcase work of the Regions in the anti-racism space in the new landscape
• To understand what else is needed to shift the dial
