Time for Care in General Practice Showcase Event – Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG

You are invited to our ‘Time for Care in General Practice’ showcase event at the Huntingdon Marriot Hotel on Wednesday 8 November 2017.

The showcase event is being hosted by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group, and is being organised in partnership with NHS England.  The event will be facilitated by Dr Robert Varnam, Director of General Practice Development at NHS England.   

This will be a highly engaging half day workshop enabling staff from GP practices to explore the 10 High Impact Actions and ask their own questions. The aim of the event is to enable the sharing of practical ideas to release time for care.  Attendees will hear about how practices around England, including some within Cambridge & Peterborough Testbeds, are freeing up time and resources, it will enable practices to explore the practicalities of making changes themselves and consider together how they want to sustain and improve care in collaboration and at scale.

Breakout sessions will be available where attendees can learn more about the High Impact Actions.  Key speakers from national programmes will be discussing Online Consultations and Document Management in partnership with local Testbed practices who can share their personal experiences.  There will also be updates about the training and support available through the national general practice development programme.

This event is open to General Practitioners, Practice Managers and other key stakeholders involved in delivering change.

Lunch and registration will be available from 12.00pm with the event starting promptly at 1.00pm. The event will finish at 5.00pm.
