Sustainable Supplier Accelerator - Science Based Targets initiative - Introduction to SME pathway

This one-hour webinar, delivered by NHS England and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), is tailored specifically for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) looking to better understand the SME pathway under the Science Based Targets initiative. During the session, you will gain insights into:

• How SBTi target validation fits into the NHS England Sustainable Procurement Programme
• Eligibility criteria for the SBTi SME pathway.
• How the pathway supports companies in setting ambitious, yet achievable climate targets aligned with science.
• Guidance on accessing tools and resources available through SBTi.

You can find the SBTi definition and eligibility criteria for an SME here (https://www.sbtiservices.com/services/sme). In addition, the new SBTi registration step via the Validation Portal, will confirm if your company qualifies for the SME pathway, however please note this is not an automated process, so please allow time for your registration to be processed and reviewed. If you're unsure, you may wish to attend both the corporate and SME webinars.
