A North East & Yorkshire Region Experience of Care Lunch & Learn

Join us on Microsoft Teams to hear about the work commissioned in Doncaster with Changing Lives to improve the experience of vulnerable women and their children.

This event is for anyone who has an interest in projects built by and for communities with a focus on equity and equality.

(Please note that the link for the event will be sent the day before the event and we suggest marking the session in your calendar)

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Maternity and Neonatal Voice Partnership (MNVP)  in collaboration with Changing Lives, (an organisation in Doncaster that supports vulnerable families) have supported the creation of a perinatal group by inviting professionals to offer weekly support to families. This initiative has grown significantly, leading to the establishment of a Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) clinic.

Recently, Doncaster commissioners have funded the continuation of the perinatal support group, providing the resources for the organisation to expand its family support services.

This is a great example of how MNVP-led initiatives can drive the development and enhancement of services to meet the needs of service users.
