Do you want to improve musculoskeletal services?
Do you know what the priorities & opportunities are to improve musculoskeletal care?
The Northern Musculoskeletal Collaborative Programme (#MSKnorth) is a regional approach to transformation in elective MSK care.
NHS RightCare has teamed up with the Elective Care Transformation Programme and wider partners to understand the challenges faced in the provision of elective MSK services, the clinical pathway drivers and how we can support local systems to improve services and outcomes for patients.
The programme launch will be opened by Professor Peter Kay, National Clinical Director for MSK and will feature frontline clinicians who are leading change and transforming MSK services.
The aims of the Northern Musculoskeletal Collaborative Programme launch are:
To help regional colleagues understand the variation in delivery, spend and patient outcomes for MSK services.
To showcase examples of high impact interventions that improve patient outcomes – we have experienced clinicians showcasing examples of innovations, including First Contact Practitioners and ESCAPE Pain.
To launch the National RightCare back pain initiative regionally.
To align the regional support offer from RightCare, the ECTP and wider partners.
To accelerate the delivery of initiatives that have demonstrable impact in improving patient care and outcomes.
