The NHSE Maternity and Neonatal Programme have partnered with the Health Coaching Academy to develop a bespoke two-day training course about how to enable personalised care in maternity and neonatal settings. This training is an accredited course with the Personalised Care Institute.
This is a highly interactive, live two-day training course (delivered virtually). The course is open to anyone working in and with maternity and neonatal services in Trusts e.g. Obstetricians, Midwives, Neonatal Doctors, Neonatal Nurses, Maternity Support Workers, MNVP Leads, Anaesthetists, LMNS and ICB Programme Managers/Clinical Leads/SUV reps. This is multi-disciplinary training and there are 18 places on each cohort:
- 11 places for midwifery professionals
- 3 places for medical professionals
- 2 places for nursing professionals
- 2 places for non-clinical professionals
The course is two full days (9.30-4.00pm) around 3-4 weeks apart, facilitated by two highly experienced and supportive trainers. The virtual delivery enables more people to attend without the need for travel. Participants need to commit to attending both days for the whole day.
The aims of this two-day programme are to improve individual experiences of services through the delivery of personalised and safe care, as well as supporting the resilience and wellbeing of Maternity and Neonatal staff. It will cover:
