Launch of the Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS) Upskilling Programme – Sessions 1 and 2

We are launching the Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS) Upskilling Programme, a free and short online course designed to support all providers who submit data to the MHSDS and anyone processing or using the data.

The programme will be particularly helpful for smaller providers who face technical or capacity challenges, but will also be beneficial to all NHS trust, VCSE and independent sector providers as well as national and regional NHS England policy leads, local authorities and social care organisations.

The programme is available now via the NHS Learning Hub and this covers:

• Session 1 - Basics of data collection, MHSDS scope, and accessing data.
• Session 2 - Detailed guidance on registration and submission, with provider testimonies and available support.
