Community of Practice for Internationally Educated Midwives in London

The London Regional Chief Midwife and Capital Midwife are launching a series Community of Practice events for Internationally Educated Midwifes (IEM) working across the London Region.

The aims of these events are:

• Networking opportunities with fellow internationally educated midwives (IEMs)
• Share insights, best practices, and innovative ideas to maintain the quality of care delivered to patients
• Access resources, workshops, and opportunities for professional support and development
• Encourage and support your career

Join us in person on Thursday 16th January 2025 at our NHS England office in Canary Wharf to celebrate the launch of the Community of Practice programme. In addition to networking opportunities, we will have presentations focusing on:

• Working in the NHS
• Insights from the Nursing and Midwifery Council
• Guidance on Midwifery Practices 
• Career progression

Due to the limited capacity at the venue, all attendees are required to register for the event.
