Rapid Improvement event  

This rapid improvement event will explore:

  • children & young people autism/neuro-disability pathways

  • pre/post diagnosis support 

Aims of the event:

This event will explore the distinct care pathways for children and young people with Autism and more widely neuro-disabilities. 

With an aim to better understand the role of education, health and social care. 

You will be asked to;

  • Capture information regarding the commissioning and delivery of effective, integrated care pathways
  • Identify and share good practice, shared risk and gaps in the provision of effective, responsive care pathways
  • Identify improvements in joint working throughout a child or young person’s journey in their care pathway
  • Agree a way forward to ensure we capitalise on the above outcomes.

Who should attend?

This event is aimed at people with lived experience, carers and professionals. Along with people who have a role in commissioning and providing education, health and social care support for children and young people with Autism and Neuro Disabilities. 

This may include:

  • SEND designated Medical and Clinical Officers
  • SEND South West Network Forum
  • Commissioners and leaders from children’s health, education and social care
  • Parent Carer Forums
  • South West Clinical Network
