We are pleased to invite you to the STEMI Case Study Day in-person event, facilitated by the East of England Cardiac Network.

This event is open to all healthcare professionals involved in STEMI care, including paramedics, cardiologists, nurses, PPCI coordinators, PPCI nurses, members of the referring centres and District General hospitals, consultants, and emergency department colleagues.

Agenda Highlights:

  • Collaborative review of audit data from all four STEMI centres, CTB and DTB metrics.
  • Discussions on DGH referral processes and education.
  • Demonstration of the Queen of Heart software.
  • A personal ECG story, focusing on criteria, clinical scenarios, and dissections, led by paramedic colleagues.
  • STEMI patient journey – from PPCI to cardiac rehab
  • Cardiac Rehab
  • Cardiac arrest case
  • Secondary transfer protocol:
    • DGH referral/education
    • Pro/Cons of a 24˙on-site cardiac centre 

Due to current financial pressures, we are unable to provide lunch for this event and ask that you bring your own lunch and a reusable cup (to reduce waste). Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day.
