The session: led by Jane Winter, Senior Analytical Lead in the Insight & Voice Team at NHS England is for anyone who has an interest in projects to improve patient experience and for those with an interest in surveys.

Information from patient experience surveys is one way to understand what service users think about their recent care and treatment and in this session we will be looking at which surveys are available, how and why they are developed and what the results can tell us about patient experience.

The use of data is a key element in the planning for the NHS and we will be looking at the intelligence that surveys provide both in the form of numerical data  / patient feedback and  how this can be used in the planning for projects to improve the patient experience.
