Webinar Series: Tackling Vaccine & Screening Inequalities
Helping to address Inequalities in Vaccination and Screening:
Webinar series Thursday 27 March 9.30-5pm
Are you a Vaccination/Screening service provider or commissioner who is passionate about improving health equity and reaching underserved communities?
Then join us for an informative webinar series on 27 March 2025, where we'll be sharing our latest insights and practical solutions to help you address some of the barriers to uptake amongst these underserved communities.
Communities of focus include Muslim, Orthodox Jewish (Charedi) and Hindu/Sikh faith communities living in deprived areas, as well as people from Bangladeshi & black ethnicity and those with learning disabilities.
We will also be presenting the key outcomes from the Diabetic Eye Screening (DES) Insight Project, which investigated the main barriers to uptake for 20-40 year olds living in deprived areas; and another project which focused on screening homeless population in London.
What to expect:
- Exclusive insights: Hear directly from our project leads about their key activities, how they overcame challenges , and most importantly, the lessons learned.
- Actionable recommendations: Discover practical strategies and good practices you can implement locally to improve vaccination and screening uptake within different communities.
- Real impact: Learn how these targeted interventions have engaged with the lives of underserved populations.
- Future access: The webinars will be recorded and available on our FutureNHS Collaboration Platform (Vaccinations and Screening - Vaccinations and Screening - FutureNHS Collaboration Platform), so you can revisit the content and share it with your network.
