GIRFT mental health rehabilitation webinar: supported housing

Hosted by Dr Sri Kalidindi, the GIRFT clinical lead for mental health rehabilitation, this webinar will discuss how VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) /Charitable Housing Associations providing care, support and housing, and mental health rehabilitation clinicians, can work together to understand and improve the supported housing system for people living with mental illness.

This session aims to describe the work these VSCE organisations are doing around supported housing, looking at the options for patients with rehab needs and how this cohort can best be supported.

We look forward to hearing from speakers from the following organisations:

• Rethink Mental Illness, Mark Yates, executive director of operations
• Look Ahead Care,Support & Housing, Angelina Morgan, director of specialist and complex care and George Garrad, director of business development
• Choice Support, Lisa Parle, deputy chief operations officer

We will also hear from Chris Harris, associate director of housing at the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust who will present a good practice example of the Sussex Integrated Care System housing strategy.
