Measuring rheumatology through data: GIRFT’s new MHS compartment

Hosted by Dr Lesley Kay and Dr Peter Lanyon, GIRFT joint clinical leads for rheumatology, this webinar will demonstrate the new Model Health System (MHS) data compartment for rheumatology.

We will give you an overview of the metrics in the compartment and demonstrate how you can use the data to reduce clinical variation to improve rheumatology services. The session will include examples of how to review specialised rheumatology activity and variation in high-cost drug use.

MHS data for rheumatology is available at site, provider, system and regional level, so trusts can compare performance against other providers and the national median, and target improvements accordingly.  By knowing and using this data, you can help shape the best possible service for your patients.
