National Consultant Information Programme (NCIP): gynaecology surgeons launch event

Hosted by the Chair of NCIP, Sir Norman Williams, and NCIP clinical lead for gynaecology, David Richmond, this event will discuss the benefits and demonstrate NCIP for gynaecology surgeons.

The National Consultant Information Programme (NCIP) is a portal providing data-driven insights for consultant surgeons working in the NHS, to support improvements in surgical practice.  More than 2,700 consultants across England are now using the portal regularly.

This event will discuss how this free data platform can support clinicians to improve clinical quality and patient safety, and also support with appraisal and re-validation, learning and development, leadership, tracking procedures, research and audit. 

We encourage all consultant gynaecology surgeons to activate their NCIP account in advance of the meeting - email the team at england.ncip@nhs.net - so that you are familiar with the key aspects of the portal and able to use this opportunity to ask questions.
