Data protection

NHS England is responsible, as the data controller, for the processing of personal data you provide via the events booking system. We use your information for the purposes of facilitating attendance at events and for statistical analysis of attendance at our events. Your information may be used by NHS England to contact you about upcoming and relevant events and information, if you consent for us to do so. Our lawful basis for data protection purposes is the exercise of official authority.

Your personal data will be processed by SIGMA Technology Solutions Ltd who supply and host the events booking system for NHS England.

If you are booking on behalf of someone else, then you are required to confirm that you have been given consent by the person for whom you are booking on behalf of.

Your personal record is retained in accordance with the NHS England records retention schedule which can be made available upon request. 

If you would like to request a copy of your personal data, unsubscribe from communications, update your contact details and preferences, or to tell us to delete your personal data, please email the NHS England Events Team at england.nhsevents@nhs.net
